Teaser from Parinity Chopra– The girl on the train went out. The first few photos of the teaser show Parinetti in London looking out of a train window in panic. Then we see it in disheveled condition.
This sounds like an intense role for Parineeti, who was last seen in 2019 Jabariya Jodi. The movie is based on Paula Hawkins’ 2015 novel of the same name. The novel was earlier converted into a Hollywood movie, starring Emily Blunt.
The Girl on the Train follows an alcoholic who watches a couple as she rides the train every day and begins glorifying them until she gets involved in a missing person’s case and her secrets begin to be revealed.
Parineeti Chopra had previously said in a statement, “Emily Blunt’s performance in The Girl on the Train has blown me away, and it is a privilege for me to play the character who brilliantly put her on screen. He showed the self-control and the extent that I showed as an actress while playing a troubled girl fighting herself In the movie How Wonderful an Actress.When any actor remakes a beloved movie, there are expectations to match the original movie, if not better than it. Therefore, I realize that the audience will look at our movie and compare it with the original movie and compare my portrayal of the hero versus Emily.
Also directed by Ripho Dasgupta stars Aditi Rao Haidari, Kerti Kolhari, Avinash Tiwari and Tota Roy Chowdhury.
The Girl on the Train is released on Netflix on February 26th.
