Oregon Congressman Kurt Schrader, who represents the state’s fifth district, was one of only two Democrats to vote against a bill that would increase COVID-19 relief operations from $ 600 to $ 2,000.

“It is clearly a last-minute political maneuver by the president and the extremists on both sides of the political spectrum who have largely been absent during months of very difficult negotiations,” Schrader said.

“I wake up today to speak against the law of criticism.
