Announcement for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Mobility GPU
We know for a fact that NVIDIA will announce GeForce RTX 30 Mobility GPUs at CES 2022. We have already seen the GeForce RTX 3080, GeForce RTX 3070, and GeForce RTX 3060 appear in several leaks and even listed online in various laptop configurations. To find out more about leaked GPUs, You can check out this article.
One of the main things about this generation of NVIDIA GeForce RTX Mobility GPUs is that they will appear inside both leading Intel and AMD laptops. Almost every previous generation Intel would have had the best performance for NVIDIA GPUs, but that wouldn’t be the case anymore. AMD Mobility’s Ryzen 5000 CPUs based on Zen 3 architecture will be showcased alongside the best NVIDIA RTX cards including GeForce RTX 3080 for Mobility. GPU specifications for navigation can be found in the table below:
Announcing the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Desktop CPU?
NVIDIA may not be limiting its CES 2022 announcements to the navigation sector only. The company is already preparing a batch of new GeForce RTX 30-series desktop graphics cards and it is possible that a few of these will be revealed at CES 2022. The GeForce RTX 3060 12GB is already making its rounds in several leaks so we may get an introduction Official next week.
Chances are also that NVIDIA will announce faster GeForce RTX 3070 and GeForce RTX 3080 variants With higher or highly anticipated VRAM GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics During the event, however, this is not yet clear.
New gaming technologies included resizable bar support?
NVIDIA has also teased what appears to be its own implementation of resizable-BAR and direct competition to AMD’s SAM (Smart Access Memory) technology. The image showing the GeForce GPU communicating with the CPU reaching directly into the entire VRAM buffer appears to be a hint that NVIDIA is ready for public announcement of the feature next week. The solution will work similarly to SAM and Motherboard makers like MSI have already enabled scalable BAR support for NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs on both AMD and Intel platforms..
With NVIDIA having its own GeForce RTX 30 GPUs in the navigation segment, it might only be the first to implement it on laptops just as AMD was the first to enable this feature on desktop computers.
The new RTX / DLSS titles will be in CES 2022 as well
Finally, we are bound to get more RTX ads. Outsiders, a third-person shooter RPG developed by developer People Can Fly, and it’s the same as Bulletstorm and Gears of War & Fortnite, so it may apply NVIDIA’s DLSS and Ray features.
This might not be the only game on offer, so stay tuned next week as NVIDIA has a whole bunch of announcements for the inbound PC gaming community.
